1. Initial Inspection & Assessment

• Visual Inspection: We check your home for visible mold, accumulated dust patterns, visible debris, discoloration around supply and return vents, efflorescence, compromised door and window seals, water damage, musty odors, and other indicators of water intrusion and air quality concerns.

  Problem Areas: Water Heaters, Under sinks, bathrooms, window sills and tracks, Basements, accessible HVAC systems and visible ductwork,  past leak areas and other high-risk moisture and particle accumulation zones are carefully inspected.

  Moisture Sources: We identify moisture intrusion and ventilation issues that may be contributing to mold growth and compromised indoor air quality.

2. Sampling & Data Collection

• Air Sampling: We collect air samples to measure mold spore concentration and genus, as well as identify particulate matter, providing a detailed picture of your indoor air quality conditions compared to outdoor baseline levels. 

• Direct Sampling: Tape lift, Swab, or Bulk samples may be collected from suspected mold areas, settled dust, debris, and surfaces of concern to confirm the presence of mold growth, its genus, and concentration, and identifying settled particulate matter.

• Environmental Readings: Humidity and temperature are checked to understand contributing factors using hygrometers and infrared cameras.

3. Laboratory Analysis

• Certified Lab Testing: Samples are analyzed by accredited labs for accurate results.

• Spore Comparison: Indoor air samples are compared to outdoor baseline samples to provide context for your indoor air quality conditions.

• Clear Findings: Results identify mold genus, spore concentration, and particle types present in your indoor environment compared to outdoor baseline levels, highlighting any elevated levels or potential areas of concern.

4. Reporting, Referrals, Verification

• Detailed Report: You receive a clear breakdown of findings, lab results, and recommendations.

• Honest Recommendations: No upsells, just straightforward guidance if action is needed.

• Remediaton Protocols: A set of detailed corrective steps provided to the remediation contractors to properly address the identified issue.

• Post-Remediation Testing: Available to verify that remediation efforts were successful, your indoor environment has returned to normal fungal ecology, targeted airborne and surface contaminants have been cleared, and your indoor environment has returned to normal baseline particulate conditions.
